Outside Sales Engineer-Hydraulic Repair

We are seeking a professional with experience and knowledge of Servo Hydraulic Controlled Test Equipment (MTS, INSTRON, SCHENCK PEGASUS, SHORE WESTERN, DTE & MOOG). Servo Hydraulic Test equipment knowledge is necessary. This person will call on the Test & Simulation industry to sell and promote the aftermarket repair services Industrial Servo Hydraulics, Inc. (ISHI) offers.

Job Description

Promote, sell, and secure new business, including major accounts, for the after
market service of servo hydraulic controlled test equipment.

Develop full market potential of all customers (EXISTING, NEW).

Assist ISHI Sales Support & Marketing Staff in determining customer needs by
Informing ISHI of competitive services/products, promotional sales, selling
techniques, pricing, warranty and marketing approaches.

Requires working out of both a Home & ISHI (Fridays) office. Coverage will
be unlimited regarding the states.

Travel is based on customer demand, which in turn will determine
frequency.

Qualifications

ME or EE Degree a plus. Candidates must have technical sales experience. Fluid power certification a plus but not a requirement.
  • Experience with Servo Hydraulic Controlled Test Equipment a must. This Includes Fatigue Rated Actuators, Rotary Controlled Actuators, Servo Valves, HSM’s (Hydraulic Service Manifolds), Load Frames & Hydraulic Power Units(Pumps-Variable & Fixed Displacement).
  • Candidates must have an existing client base that they can promote ISHI’s services too. Ideal candidates will know where existing hydraulic test systems are. These Systems are made by MTS, INSTRON, SCHENCK, and SHORE WESTERN DTE & MOOG.
  • Good communication and computer skills as well as a professional appearance are required.
  • Must be able to work out of a home office and report once a week (IN PERSON) At ISHI’s office.
  • Requires traveling to customer sites on a regular basis. Benefits and 401K

TECHNICIAN

Seeking an experienced individual with Electro- Hydraulic Servo Knowledge. Repair of Servo Electronic OBE repair required.

Must know how to troubleshoot and repair Moog, Bosch, and Rexroth on board electronic repair.

CLERICAL

The Administrative Assistant has responsibility for administrative support functions for multiple Managers, which include:

Responsibilities:

  • Completing administrative processes (filing, correspondence, data entry, preparing purchase orders,)
  • Use Microsoft Office package to produce letters, memoranda and reports
  • Use Microsoft Accounting Software to prepare Quotes, orders and invoices
  • Answering telephones and greeting clients
  • Route and prioritize mail
  • Create and maintain files
  • Maintain customer files
  • Post invoices, and Cash Receipts
  • Perform team-oriented tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills Professionalism
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficient in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook), with 50 wpm keyboarding required
  • Excellent phone skills,
  • Prior work experience as an Administrative Assistant required
  • Ability to multi-task, Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Candidates must possess authorization to work permanently in the US. No relocation will be provided.
  • Some college is required; Associate's degree preferred
  • High energy-self-starter

 

Hours:
7:30am 4:30pm plus flexibility for overtime when needed

INSIDE SALES

Call on existing customers and increase our client base in different industries. Hydraulic sales experience a must. Must have good phone skills and be self-motivated and have a professional approach when speaking to customers. This is not a telemarketing position. You will have a client base of many different industries to call on to ensure that they are happy with us and if they have any work to send in. Some research on specific industries will be required to see where we can increase our client base. Some training will be necessary. Computer skills on ( Microsoft Office And CRM programs ie.. Goldmine) helpful but will train.

Wages will commensurate with experience.
